Glow Inflatables was proud to supply a striking collection of custom inflatable tentacles for the UEFA Champions League Final Fan Zone at Budapest’s Puskás Aréna. Designed to enhance official sponsor PlayStation’s penalty challenge, the inflatables were inspired by Wako Tako, the memorable octopus-style character from the Astro Bot game universe.
For this high-profile fan zone activation, Glow Inflatables created a series of inflatable blue tentacles in a variety of sizes to help transform the space into an immersive and instantly recognisable PlayStation experience. The tentacles were installed to surround a football shootout game, creating a dramatic visual centrepiece that tied the gaming world of Astro Bot into the live football environment of the Champions League Final.
To bring the Wako Tako concept to life, we produced multiple inflatable tentacles in different sizes, ensuring the final layout had depth, movement and a strong sense of character. The result was a bold, interactive setup that drew fans in from every angle. The tentacles helped define the space, frame the game zone and add the kind of visual impact that stops visitors in their tracks.
