This summer, Glow Inflatables took centre stage, quite literally, at one of the UK’s biggest music events: Wireless Festival in Finsbury Park, London. As international superstar Drake delivered his headline performance, fans were treated not just to beats and bass, but to the surreal sight of a 4-metre-diameter helium-inflated moon, custom-built by our expert team.

Working closely with the festival’s production crew, we were asked to create a giant, helium-inflated moon, complete with realistic lunar surface printing and internal LED illumination. This visually striking, atmospheric feature elevated the stage design and enhanced the nighttime visuals, gently floating above the crowd like a scene from a science-fiction movie.

The impressive size of our giant inflatable moon was large enough to dominate the skyline of the festival grounds, while its helium inflation allowed it to hover silently and gracefully overhead.

The moon soon became an integral part of the show and complimented the additional pyrotechnical displays that wowed the festival audiences. Hovering above Drake and the other great performers, the glowing orb served as a powerful visual symbol and an unforgettable part of the festival’s aesthetic. Although clearly visible during the day, the contrast between the massive moon and the night sky created a striking silhouette, prompting a flood of social media shares from thousands of fans.

At Glow Inflatables, we specialise in bringing ambitious ideas to life. From magically hovering spheres to branded inflatables, we help create those “wow” moments that audiences never forget.
