The Glow Inflatables team has just returned from an incredible few days in Oslo, Norway, where we were proud to play a part in the highly anticipated outdoor music festival KARPE WORLD.
With a crew of four, we installed ten giant inflatables, each standing over 8 metres tall, with some reaching an impressive 15 metres in height. It was a project that demanded careful planning, precision installation and plenty of teamwork to recreate Norwegian hip hop duo Karpe’s immersive universe.
Legendary rappers Karpe are renowned for pushing creative boundaries and KARPE WORLD was no exception. Rather than using inflatables simply as decoration, every piece represented an iconic visual reference from some of their most famous songs, helping transform the festival into a custom-built theme park that fans instantly recognised.
Our custom helium inflatables included a plane, banana car, Toyota car, a large and a small pig. Ground-based inflatable installations included a giant sweater, cereal pack, monkey and mouth.
Each enormous installation became part of the storytelling throughout the festival, creating unforgettable photo opportunities while reinforcing the artistic vision behind Karpe’s performance.
Whether suspended high above the crowd as helium inflatables or standing proudly across the festival site as ground-based sculptures, every inflatable was designed to withstand the demands of a major outdoor event while delivering maximum visual impact.
The atmosphere throughout the festival was incredible. Thousands of fans packed the venue, embracing Karpe’s imaginative world that had been created around them. It was inspiring to see how much thought had gone into every aspect of the event and we’re proud of Glow Inflatables’ contribution in bringing that vision to life.
