The team at Glow Inflatables recently supplied an inflatable hot air balloon to global advertising company JC Decaux. Our striking creation was designed as part of their promotional campaign in Oslo, Norway to celebrate the launch of a brand-new TV series “Smak & Ubehag”.
Translated as ‘Taste and Discomfort’, the reality series follows two friends as they travel across Europe in search of culinary delights and daring adventures, a mix of flavours and thrills that perfectly captures the spirit of exploration. To bring that adventurous energy to life, JC Decaux mounted our bright red inflatable design on top of a truck, cleverly positioned to look like a real hot-air ballon containing the series hosts. With the show’s name printed boldly on the balloon alongside details of the premier, the custom inflatable became a mobile showpiece that drew attention wherever it went.
Because the balloon is a sealed PVC design, it didn’t require continuous inflation, making it ideal for outdoor displays and mobile promotions like this one. Sturdy, vibrant, and easy to install, it made for a visually stunning centrepiece that captured the essence of the TV show – fun, curiosity and a dash of the unexpected.
